OCC Lip Tars

Hello Friends.  I just had to try out the OCC Lip tars after hearing how highly pigmented they are, so I purchased the one named Hush.  It is a lovely pink color.  I must admit after trying it out I was not satisfied because it comes off so easily.  It is highly pigmented and you don't need very much, but what good is it if it just comes right off?  Perhaps, I am not applying it correctly.  The cost is $12.50 per tube.

La Mer makes a loose powder that is better than any I have ever found!  This powder is so silky and the price is right.  It is only $65.00 for a large container.  I recommend it highly.

La Mer cream Rocks!

This is expensive cream, but it certainly feels good on your skin and I think you are worth it!  I bought this face cream and everytime I put it on my face, my face thanks me!  The cream is very, very rich and it has such a clean smell.  My skin feels so soft now that I have been using it (ever so sparingly, I might add.)  I don't know how I ever got along without this beauty product!  I recommend it to everyone who cares about the appearance of their skin.

I just purchased two new items from Laura Mercier!

Both items are of high quality and practical use.  I love them both, and now I am a fan of Laura Mercier.  I read one of her books and she has a great story.  She has a wonderful  philosphy of beauty.

I purchased the tinted moisturizer in Nude.  This goes on very porcelin-like.  I like this so much better than regular moisturizer, it also has SPF in the formula.  I paid $42.00 for this @ Sephora and you get a lot of product for this amount.  I think this tube will last me a long time.

The second item I purchased was her velour powder puff.  Wow, when I put this next to my face, I was amazed at the quality and the softness.  I actually look forward to applying my powder using this puff.  This was $12.00 @ Sephora.

For those of you who might be experiencing fine lines, you might want to try Estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair.  It is expensive, but it works.  I was starting to get fine lines below my eyes, so I started using this at night and I did notice a visible diminishment of my fine lines.  When I find something that actually works, I like to pass the word along.

I finally broke down and purchased this luxury toothpaste.  I know that $16.00 is a bit much to pay for a tube of toothpaste, but we all deserve a splurge once in a while.  This toothpaste is gentle and refreshing.  I do not know how well it works for whitening the teeth yet, because I have only been using it for a couple of days.  The reviews I have read on this product seem to indicate that it works for some people and not for others.

Another Great Mascara

XXL Extensions Mascara by Mabelline is a great mascara to use for everyday.  It really does what is says it will do.  It lengthens the lashes extremely well.  The primer is fabulous and so is the mascara.  I used to use Great Lash for everyday, but after my discovery of XXL Extenions Mascara I am a convert.

Dior Show Mascara Rocks!

I just purchased the Dior Show Mascara in Black (the waterproof version)!  Anyway, I am impressed with the luxurious brush.  The brush is thick and the mascara goes on really, really black!  Even though this mascara is waterproof it is not difficult to remove.

I just have to share how wonderful I think the Nars bronzer is in Laguna!  This bronzer is such high quality, and it looks good on almost all skin tones.  There is no orange hue to it at all.

How I ever lived without this stuff I will never know.  This primer goes on so smooth and makes ones skin feel so good.  It really helps to diminish fine lines.  It is a great base for foundation too.  I saw a noticeable difference in how my make up looked and lasted.  Now my make up stays set and lasts all day.  I recommend using this primer prior to the application of concealer and foundation.  It makes the skin appear youthful and amazing.  It is certainly worth the investment, even though $36.00 is a bit expensive.  You can also get it in travel size for $17.00 a tube.  You just need to apply a small amount.
